The French company TransOceanic WindTransport (TOWT) has a great ambition – to build the world’s first real cargo ship powered almost entirely by the wind. In 2022, TOWT began the building process for two sister cargo ships – one in Romania (and subsequently in France), and one in Vietnam.
SEEDIGITAL has been been following the story of the build process for the first ship, in Romania and in France, and is bringing it to global audiences both through a social media video campaign made to raise awareness, as well as through a full-length feature documentary that will be released after the ship is completed and will tell the amazing story of how a “crazy dream” has become a sustainable reality.
